When We Can Help

Wholesale still runs on email and spreadsheets.

  1. /01

Orders arrive by email and phone

Someone re-keys every wholesale order and checks the price by hand. With company accounts and catalogs, buyers order and reorder in the store at their own prices and terms.

  2. /02

Retail and wholesale share products, not prices

Wholesale buyers need their own prices, terms and range, and retail customers shouldn't see any of it. We set this up in one Shopify store, or in two when the businesses really differ.

  3. /03

Your buyers need more than a cart

Quotes, sign-off by a buyer's manager, configured products. Where native B2B stops, we build the missing logic as an app or a Shopify Function instead of sending it back to email.

  3. Build

The B2B storefront experience and any custom logic, such as quotes or approvals, tested with real buyer scenarios.

  4. Launch & Run

FAQ

Questions
we get asked

What is Shopify B2B?

Shopify's native wholesale features: business customers are set up as companies with locations, and each gets its own catalogs, prices and payment terms. Buyers log in and order in the store, and you manage B2B orders in the same Shopify admin as everything else.

Do we need Shopify Plus for B2B?

Not always. Shopify B2B is available on the Basic, Grow, Advanced and Plus plans, but not on Starter or Retail. Below Plus you can use up to three B2B catalogs assigned through Shopify Markets; unlimited catalogs, catalogs assigned directly to a company or location, deposits and partial payments need Plus. We check which of these you actually need before recommending a plan.

Can one store serve wholesale and retail?

Yes. Shopify supports a blended store for both B2B and direct-to-consumer customers, or a dedicated B2B-only store. One store means one catalogue and one admin; a separate store makes sense when wholesale needs its own brand, content or operations. We recommend one after looking at how your buyers order.

Can wholesale buyers pay on net terms?

Yes. Net terms, quantity price breaks, quantity rules and saved credit cards are part of Shopify B2B on all plans that include it. Draft orders can be sent to buyers as invoices, and a B2B checkout can be turned into a draft for your team to review first. Deposits and partial payments are Plus only.

Can you build quotes, approvals or a configurator?

Yes, as custom logic on top of native B2B: a custom app, a theme extension or Shopify Functions. Custom apps that use Shopify Functions need Plus; public apps with functions work on any plan. For Prime EVA we built a car mat constructor inside a custom Shopify store, which shows the kind of configurator work we do.

Can B2B orders go into our ERP?

Yes, but that is integration work and has its own page. See Shopify integrations and, for larger system landscapes, complex solutions. On a B2B project we decide early which system owns prices, stock and customer data, so the store and the ERP don't disagree.

Can you move our existing wholesale customers?

Yes. Companies, contacts, locations and their prices are moved into Shopify before launch, so buyers don't start from an empty account. We plan the move with you and test it with a few real customers first.

How long does a Shopify B2B project take?

It depends on how much is native setup and how much is custom. Configuring companies, catalogs and terms in an existing store is a matter of weeks; quotes, approvals or a configurator add more. We scope it before quoting.
